BOOK WITH JEN

Hi, I’m Jen

I help midlife women and anyone navigating life transitions feel more like themselves—mentally, physically, and emotionally. I’m a Registered Provisional Psychologist and a Registered Dietitian with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I love helping clients explore the connection between mental and physical health so they can create their own version of wellness. Together, we work holistically to discover what truly supports your mind, body, and overall well-being.

  • A big focus of my practice is supporting midlife women through perimenopause and menopause—a time often filled with identity shifts, hormonal changes, and symptoms that can deeply impact mental health. I offer practical, evidence-informed strategies to reduce overwhelm and help you feel more like yourself. I also provide a safe, open, and non-judgmental space to explore the full range of emotions you’re experiencing, guiding you from frustration toward acceptance.

I also work with clients struggling with negative body image, which can affect relationships, social connection, and the ability to fully enjoy life—including enjoying delicious food! In therapy, we explore your relationship with food, your body, and movement in a way that fosters self-compassion, respect, and peace. I practice from a non-diet, Health at Every Size® perspective that affirms all body types and identities. Health is not defined by size, and I support you in challenging societal messages that suggest otherwise.

Beyond menopause, body image, and disordered eating, I also support individuals navigating IBS, stress, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. Therapy can be challenging, but getting to a place where you’re not just surviving—but truly thriving—is absolutely worth it.

  • I travelled the world for a year. My husband and I left our jobs and travelled for one full year to 20 countries. My favorites were Japan, Croatia, Indonesia, and Colombia.

I'm very lucky. I’ve won many contests including a trip to Italy and Turks and Caicos. And yet, I never buy lottery tickets.

I ran the New York City marathon. In addition to three other marathons in Seattle, Toronto, and New Orleans. They were all great but nothing beats the energy and excitement of New York.

I went to school to be a makeup artist. I didn’t last long in the industry as I didn’t like giving up every weekend to do wedding makeup and honestly wasn’t very skilled at it. But it was fun for a little while to explore my creative side.

I love to sing karaoke. I do not have a great singing voice but I love to perform. I’m a more reserved person so it’s a lot of fun to surprise people when I get on stage and let loose.

BOOK WITH JESSICA

Hi, I’m Jessica…

Struggling with relationships, parenting stress, or life transitions? I help individuals and couples navigate these challenges with compassion and practical strategies. I’m a Registered Psychologist with a Master of Counselling Degree from City University of Seattle, and I create a supportive space where all parts of you are welcome—free from judgment.

Using an attachment and relational lens, I help you understand patterns, strengthen connections, and find ways to cope more effectively. In our sessions, you’ll be seen, heard, and supported as you move toward balance, connection, and well-being.

  • In therapy, many of my clients struggle with self-criticism and feelings of unworthiness. This can show up as perfectionism, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and difficulty connecting authentically with themselves and others. Together, we explore where these beliefs came from and recognize that, at one point, they may have even served a purpose.

I support you in taking an active role in your life—living in a way that is meaningful and authentically yours, free from limiting messages passed down through family, society, or culture. My goal is to help you shift from self-criticism to self-acceptance.

I approach therapy through attachment and trauma-informed perspectives, because our connections with others shape how we see ourselves and form relationships. In our work together, you’ll learn more compassionate and effective ways to relate to yourself and others. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your therapy journey!

  • I love travelling off the beaten path and immersing myself in culture, witnessing how others live in environments so different from my own. The experience often shows the strength, adaptability, and resiliency of us humans.

I was born to Italian-immigrant parents. Although I may not look like it, my family immigrated to Canada from Southern Italy. I have first-hand experience in learning how to balance traditional family and cultural pressures with differing values that feel more authentic to me.

I love throwing dance parties. Trained as a dancer for 15 years, I have a huge love for music and movement. While I may no longer be dancing at the latest nightclub, I will definitely be busting some moves in my car and throwing at-home dance parties with my two daughters.

I am passionate about food. Perhaps it’s the Italian in me, but I value connection with others over food. I love trying new cuisines and feel grateful to live in a city that offers so many diverse cuisines. My current favorites are Indian, Ethiopian, and Southeast Asian dishes.

My dream job growing up was to become an architect. I remember spending hours drawing city skylines and extravagant floors plans on drafting tables in school.

BOOK WITH LISA

Hi, I’m Lisa…

Struggling to support your child, teen, or family through life’s challenges? I help families and young people navigate transitions, mental health concerns, and relationship difficulties with care and expertise. I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Calgary and over 20 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in government and non-profit settings. Before private practice, I spent 10 years as a therapist in Child & Adolescent Mental Health with Alberta Health Services in Calgary.

  • I’m passionate about helping pre-teens and teens better understand themselves, navigate challenges, and celebrate their strengths. Much of my practice focuses on youth struggling with anxiety and big emotions. I work with them to improve self-worth, build coping skills, and feel empowered to face life’s ups and downs.

I also offer emotion-focused parent coaching and support. I help parents better understand themselves so they can better support their children, while also addressing burnout, overwhelm, and the stresses of parenting during this stage of life.

At my core, I believe connection is the key to change. This includes the connection with your therapist, the mind-body connection, and the connections with the important people in your life. I support families in working through struggles and empowering them to create more authentic, connected, and fulfilling relationships.

  • I was born in England and lived there until I was 7. I knew very little about Canada when we moved so had zero idea what to expect but my parents said if we moved I would get my ears pierced so I was getting on that plane!

I played rugby in high school only for the social aspect & had zero skills but had lots of fun!

I love to ski & snowboard with friends & family. I learned to ski at a ski hill in NB where the highway was right below the bottom of the run. Separated by a flimsy plastic “fence”. So I learned that pizza stop really fast.

I love party planning & celebrating things and even did party planning classes and considered it for a career. And the people close to me will tell you I have a hard time not involving myself in any party planning even if it’s for me 🙊

I love to vacation & travel. I did my BSW practicum in Australia. And when I lived in the UK for a bit after my undergrad I travelled around Europe whenever I had a chance. I dragged my poor aunt all over the place & I went to Barcelona alone as my family & friends weren’t interested in going.

Book with Alina

Hi, I’m Alina…

I help people face life’s inevitable struggles while discovering their own inner truth, wisdom, and capacity to thrive. I’m a Registered Psychologist with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Athabasca University, and I practice from a strengths-based approach. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role as your therapist is to support you in navigating challenges while helping you trust yourself, connect with your inner guidance, and build the resilience to move forward with confidence.

  • Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and beliefs that may be getting in the way of living in alignment with your values. We’ll gently identify patterns and behaviours that no longer serve you, strengthen your relationship with yourself and others, and support you in living more authentically.

I often work with perfectionists, high-achievers, and people-pleasers who feel like no matter how much they do, it’s never enough. Many describe racing thoughts, overwhelming emotions, and a sense of simply getting through the days rather than truly thriving. Over time, this can create distance from your values, purpose, and sense of self.

My goal is to help you move from surviving to living with intention. Together, we’ll focus on meaningful, values-aligned action so you can build a life that feels grounded, fulfilling, and genuinely yours. If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself and live more authentically, you’re in the right place.

  • I was born in Russia and we moved here when I was two, so I’m a true Calgarian. I still speak Russian with my parents, and my daughter is learning the language now as well.

I'm a recovering perfectionist and that is likely why I connect so well with my clients. I know what it’s like to feel that pressure, to never feel good enough, and always feel the need to strive for more. I also know what it feels like to slow down, find balance, and hold your perfectionism lightly.

I love travelling & enjoying new cultures. My favourite countries that I’ve visited so far have been Italy, Greece and Croatia. I am pretty comfortable in the European continent, but I do have Bali on my bucket list.

My husband & I met in University at the library while studying. It definitely was not love at first sight and I tried to break up with him after about a month. He convinced me not to and here we are 12 years later, with a beautiful daughter. As cheesy as it might sound, he’s my best friend.

If I weren't a therapist, I’d be an event planner or interior designer. I love organizing, planning, and decorating. You could say my type A and perfectionist skills come to good use at times.

Hi, I’m Bri…

I am a Certified Canadian Counsellor with a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and over 11 years of experience working in the mental health sector. My work has been dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families navigating diverse and complex mental health needs. Through this journey, I’ve learned how pivotal relationships are in our healing and growth, and I am passionate about helping clients explore, strengthen, and nurture those connections.

  • My practice is rooted in a trauma-informed lens, flexible interventions, and holistic therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your unique needs. I work from an attachment perspective and provide therapy for children, teens, and couples. Whether it’s your relationship with yourself, your partner, or your family, I am here to support you every step of the way.

One of my special interests lies in empowering young women, particularly those newly diagnosed with ADHD. I understand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel to navigate life after an ADHD diagnosis, especially in a world that often overlooks the unique ways it manifests in young women. My goal is to help clients embrace their neurodiversity, build self-compassion, and develop tools to thrive in their personal and professional lives.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are the expert of your own life. My role is to hold space for you, listen without judgment, and collaborate on a plan for moving forward that feels authentic to you. Therapy isn’t always easy, but your story and lived experiences deeply matter to me.

When we work together, I bring my full, human self to our sessions—authentic, compassionate, and present. I’ll provide a safe space for you to explore your emotions, help you set meaningful goals, and share practical tools and strategies to support your growth. And along the way, we’ll make sure to leave room for a good laugh, because healing doesn’t have to be all serious!

  • I was born and raised in Ontario. Call me crazy, but I would choose lakes over the mountains! The one thing that makes me feel most at home is jumping into a refreshing cold lake in the heat of summer!

I love sports! I’ve played ringette for over 20 years and continue to spend my winter evenings in a cold rink around Calgary! I even played for a Europe travel team in 2009 where we went to Prague, Sweden, Finland, and Germany!

I love travelling! Traveling and new experiences are always on my mind! I am that person who is planning the next trip while the current one wraps up. I’m usually in Palm Springs or Phoenix in the winter months visiting my parents or in-laws, otherwise you can catch me on a beach somewhere!

I am a foster parent for rescue animals. I have always been a HUGE animal lover, and during COVID I finally convinced my husband to let me be a foster mom for a local rescue agency! 30 foster dogs later I have officially “foster failed” and now have 3 resident dogs of my own! A Saint Bernard, Pitbull, and Chihuahua- we definitely get some laughs and looks at the dog parks!

I am a foodie! To say I'm a foodie is an understatement! I love going out with my husband and/or friends to try new food all over the city (and world). Perhaps I was a food blogger in a previous life! I am that person that everyone asks for a suggestion for the best happy hour or trendy spot to go! My favorite food is most definitely pizza, so if you have any recommendations, I NEED to know!

Hi, I’m Sara…

With more than 10 years in the mental health field, I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive experience for every person who reaches out to Exhale. I believe that care begins long before someone walks into a therapy room, and my goal is to ensure clients feel seen, supported, and guided every step of the way.

Connection is at the heart of what I do. I love being part of a team that leads with compassion, collaboration, and authenticity—values that make Exhale feel like a place where both clients and clinicians can breathe a little easier.

When I’m not working behind the scenes at the clinic, you’ll find me with my family, friends, or my two fur babies. I also love unwinding with a good book, a cozy reality show, or a sappy movie—anything that helps me slow down, recharge, and come back grounded.
